Mc01 sample

The MC01 micro-probe endstation: a six-axis hexapod, the dense sample-positioning stage (the mi motor bank plus piezo and hydra fine stages), the Aerotech scanning stage, and the pin-alignment piezos.

Note

The mi_mot bank (46 axes on p06/motor/mi.*) is the endstation positioning stack, roles not labelled, grouped as one stage (GROUP-1). The hexapod is six hexapodmotor axes; the scan stage is Aerotech (continuous fly-scan capable); the fine stages are piezopi and hydra.

Nc1 sample

The NC1 nano-probe endstation: two SmarAct hexapods (the horizontal and vertical KB-lens carriers), the KB lens fine stages, the SmarAct sample / phase piezos, the Pegasus sample rotation, the centring piezos, and the nano-positioning motor bank.

Note

The two hexasmarmotor controllers carry nine axes each (x/y/z translations, px/py/pz pusher, rx/ry/rz rotations); the lens fine stages are vmexecutor virtual axes; the nat_mot bank (20 axes) is the endstation positioning, roles not labelled (GROUP-1).
