Fluorescence detector¶
The energy-dispersive detector in 2-ID-D that records the X-ray fluorescence spectrum at each scan point; element maps are fit from the spectra downstream (EAA's XRF-Maps lineage).
Enclosure: 2-ID-D.
Note
Binds the catalog EnergyDispersiveSpectrometer Family (graduated once 2-ID and 7-BM shared it), presenting the Sensor Role. The readout chain EAA names (a preamplifier and EPICS scalers, plus the I0 flux monitors a microprobe normalizes against) is the detection electronics, identities unconfirmed (DET-2).
