Inventory¶
The CORA Asset model for FMX: the device tree read from the profile collection and what still needs confirming.
This is the cross-cutting reference view of the Source walk and the Sample, Detector, and Controls pages. It is generated-honest: authored from the same beamline.yaml descriptor the Source page renders from.
Devices bind to catalog Families and carry real EPICS PVs (verified against the NSLS2/fmx-profile-collection startup/*.py device classes; the real MX acquisition logic lives in the lsdc / mxtools libraries, referenced not modelled). No vendor Model is bound: part numbers are not in the profile collection. FMX introduces no new Family and graduates nothing: every device reuses the MX vocabulary Diamond i03 established, including the graduated Goniometer, Camera (the Eiger), and Transfocator (the CRL). The robotic sample changer is one Positioner-presenting Asset (not a new Family, the i03 / 19-BM precedent, ROBOT-1); the on-axis illumination and the beam-position monitors bind the loose Backlight (FMX is the 3rd sighting, held, DET-1) and BeamPositionMonitor (held, DIAG-1) families; see Model.

Every family is in the catalog except the loose Backlight and BeamPositionMonitor (both held), and the Robot, which is a Positioner-presenting Asset with no Family (the i03 / 19-BM precedent). FMX graduates nothing: the Goniometer, Camera, and Transfocator reuse is the point, making FMX a clean second MX deployment after i03.
